Through the earning of students’ respect and modeling professional behavior educators will influence the professional development of their students. This group is for educators who aspire to discuss and master the competencies necessary for exemplary performance and top customer service in a dynamic, rapidly changing education landscape. Group members share best practices, ideas, thoughts, reflections, and resources to help colleagues across the globe improve performance.
It’s always important in leadership to make sure everyone is heard and respected.
The more the team can be unified and trusted, the easier it will be to achieve goals.
As a pilot, this lesson is vitally important. If you are a first officer sitting next to a captain, you want to be able to effectively communicate.
From my experience in the USAF, I realize how important team management is. This lesson had many useful techniques to become a successful leader and utilize a team effectively
Leadership comes in many different forms, and thus we are always striving to learn more. This lesson effectively conveyed that knowledge.
The course further solidified my belief in strength in diversity.
Leadership takes good listening skills and a strong sense of who you are and what you bring to the table. Take care of others and lead with boldness and humility.
Sometimes, I have found getting everyone on board with any ideas is hard. However, I have found that using my leadership skills helps with getting everyone on the same page.
The many different ways to effectively delegate will be very helpful as I continue to try to improve in this skill set.
